Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

If you sign in, we store basic Google account information such as email address, name, and email verification status. We also store collection data, aircraft to spot, sightings, profile settings, uploaded photos, photo file metadata, captions, tags, aircraft and airport links, moderation state, upload-block status, and alert preferences.

2. How We Use It

We use this information to run your account, save your aircraft collection, show public profile pages when enabled, host and display your aircraft photos, support imports, prepare future alerts, detect abuse, respond to deletion or rights requests, and improve the product.

3. Public Profiles

Profiles are private by default. If you switch your profile to public, selected profile information and collection statistics may be visible at URLs such as /users/123 and may be indexed by search engines. Uploaded aircraft photos are public regardless of profile visibility and may appear on aircraft pages, profile pages, public galleries, collection views, and related product surfaces.

4. Photos

Only upload photos you took yourself. Uploaded files may contain embedded metadata, and any caption, tag, aircraft registration, airport, or taken-at time you add may be stored and shown with the photo. We may remove photos, block uploads, or keep limited moderation records when needed to handle reports, strikes, safety, legal requests, or abuse prevention.

5. Analytics

We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand site usage and improve the product. These tools may set cookies or process usage data according to their own policies.

6. Data Removal

To request account, photo, or profile removal, email delete@otheratc.com from the email address associated with your account. Include any relevant photo URL, photo ID, profile URL, or account details so we can find the right records.
